3 years-ish in the past, we came across a man on the web, we’ll call him “D”, on Myspace. It absolutely was rather innocent, in which he was actually pretty HOT. And also by relatively, What i’m saying is SO.CUTE. It was not some large relationship, I happened to be around relationships but we provided music tastes, a dry (ahem devastatingly witty) sense of humor therefore we both lived-in L.A. Emails gradually advanced to texts to random telephone calls. Once again, not a large love affair, but undoubtedly some thing with possible.
He’d ask us to hang out, following terminate. This cycle would duplicate, duplicate, perform. I’d maintain their neighbor hood and get him to meet up for coffee/lunch but he usually had strategies. What a coincidence, correct? We never really cared too much-I started a unique connection and simply filed “D” away as a text/email buddy in which he felt very happy to only fade normally as my connection using my today sweetheart progressed.
Now, we’re pals on Facebook and Twitter, and he drunk texts me ALL.THE.TIME. He emails myself audio the guy believes we’ll like (i usually love it) and he calls myself once every couple weeks. Gathering from social networking stalking I accomplished, he is singleâ¦goes out all the time, does not have a girlfriend or ten kidsâ¦and there’s no reason we’ve gotn’t hung . If I stop answering him, I get “in which could you be? We neglect you!” texts, etc. He is lent an online hand during hard times in my existence, directs me personally small (low creepy) gift suggestions for my birthday celebration and Christmas and is apparently an excellent guyâ¦but its so difficult to share with, since the guy won’t turn out from behind the pc.
It’s very perplexing, because although Im very happy in my own relationship, We start thinking about “D” a friend. But are we?
I get that possibly the guy seriously isn’t that into fulfilling me personally face-to-face, and I also’m ok thereupon. To tell the truth, I am not into him romantically in just about any way-I mean, a guy who requires three years to obtain anything accomplished is not attractive! If they aren’t curious, or was not curious 3 years agoâ¦why does the guy keep calling/texting/tweeting/emailing/facebooking?
Feasible Solutions.
1. He’s shy/intimidated-this happens to be his excuse before but I’m not sure I purchase it.
2. they are perhaps not who he seems to be on line. My personal only problem with this would be that their Twitter appears to be full of “real” life friends, and then he usually features new pictures-I learn where the guy operates, in which the guy lives-whoa I seem like a creep. HOWEVER-we’ve all heard the Catfish tale, right? Never ever may be as well mindful! But I mean, his mommy obviously comments on their posts, and I just can’t envision she actually isn’t actual!
3. He wants having a stylish woman provide him interest but he doesn’t always have to rev up towards the dish and actually “DO” any such thing. BINGO.
4. He’s only a weirdo.
I’m tilting towards 3, and wanting it is not 4. But now, it’s simply more fascination than everything else-who is my personal mysterious buddy “D”? Hey D, you’re probably checking out thisâ¦since you stick to me on Twitter as well as!
